Trained Horses for Sale
Mountainview Kyng Embrea [CAN]14534 - $10,000 CAD if sold before December 31, 2024
*** If we start riding her again this winter, or feed her over the winter her price will increase to $13,500.00***
Mountainview Kyng Embrea is a gorgeous, sweet, and sensitive registered Canadian mare sired by Prairie Creek Fonzorelli Kyng (SOLD) and out of Rowista Marco-Pat Teatree. "Emmy" is well started under saddle and has had a total of 90 days of professional training. She had a light 30 day start as a 3 year old, before being turned out to mentally and physically mature. She spent another 60 days being ridden at SR Horse Training in the winter of 2021 getting a really nice reining based foundation and handle put on her. She was ridden primarily western and bareback, but also shows a tonne of potential as an English mount.

Emmy is a lovely mover and is very smooth to ride. She is quiet, gentle, easy to handle, and responsive to voice commands as well as rein, seat, and leg aids. She responds best to a rider that will use a lot of positive reinforcement and let her know when she is doing a good job. She thrives on strong bonds and good relationships, and is always checking in with her rider. She can be a bit slower to trust new people, but always tries very hard to please. Once she has formed a bond with a human, she loves spending time with them and does her best to make them proud. She can sometimes struggle a tiny bit with confidence if she is alone, so she does best with a calm and confident handler to be her leader. She has no vices and has never offered to buck, rear, or bolt when she is unsure - she just gets a little bit nervous but is always easy to calm down if she feels her rider is trustworthy.

Emmy is a proven broodmare and she produced an exceptional solid bay colt for us in 2023 (Kitcat Wyoming Klutch - SOLD). She was an easy foaler and excellent mother. She produced a tonne of milk and was very attentive to her foal. Her baby was easily one of the sweetest foals we have ever had the pleasure of raising.
Emmy has had some time off due to no fault of her own, but with more consistent hours under saddle we believe she has the right temperament to be a lovely beginner friendly mount. Due to her size and strength we feel that she would do best with and intermediate rider who could give her a quick refresher and get her back into a regular routine.
We are willing to offer Emmy at a discounted price "as she sits" only because she hasn't been ridden very consistently for the last two years. If she is rehomed before December 31, 2024, we are willing to sell her for $10,000. CAD FIRM. If we thought we had time to start riding her again soon, we would be asking much more for her. Unfortunately we just don't have the time to get out and ride consistently this season as we are still working on setting up our new location. If we find the time to get her going under saddle again and feed her over the winter - her price will increase to $13,500.00.
Kitcat Kyng Georgia [CAN]14717 - $10,000 CAD
*** Price reduced from $12,000 due to cosmetic blemishes on her front leg ***
Kitcat Kyng Georgia is an amazing young mare born August 5, 2019 out of LDR Ghost Roxi (sold), and sired by Prairie Creek Fonzorelli Kyng (sold). Georgia is a very big girl - already standing at 16 hands and expected to mature to around 16.2 hands. Georgia is solid black with no white markings. She has huge rock crushing feet, and currently fits a size 6 cavallo boot. Georgia does have some cosmetic scaring on her front leg from a fence injury as a foal. The scars aren't pretty, but they in no way interfere with her soundness. We have decided to offer Georgia at a discounted price only due to these cosmetic blemishes.
Georgia completed 60 days of professional training with a strong reining foundation at S.R Horse Training in March and April 2024, and she did amazing! Georgia is a level headed mare with amazing movement and a strong desire to please. She is currently best suited to an intermediate or better rider as she is very powerful, and still young and green. Georgia has been ridden primarily western and bareback, but could go in any direction with the right rider. Georgia is incredibly smooth to ride, and very responsive to rein, leg, and seat aids as well as voice commands. She has a great stop, and a very impressive and light back up. She has a very soft mouth, and prefers a rider that communicates mostly with leg, seat, and voice aids. Georgia does great in the arena alone or with other horses. She went on a few trail/ditch rides while in training and seemed to really enjoy being ridden outdoors. She gained more confidence with every trail ride, but she has has some time off due to no fault of her own and at this time would still do best when accompanied by a more experienced horse.

Georgia is currently available to an approved home for $10,000 CAD. Her price would be much higher if she didn't have cosmetic blemishes. We would like to see Georgia go to a home where she will primarily have a job as a riding horse, in addition to having the opportunity to produce at least a few registered Canadian foals. If you think you can offer Georgia an excellent home, please contact us. We will be very picky about where she goes, as she is our first homegrown foal.

Waitnsee Magician Breeze [CAN]14968
*** FOR SALE - $12,000 CAD ***
Waitnsee Magician Breeze is a lovely registered Canadian mare born May 26, 2014 out of Ferme Leblanc Boreal Cindy and sired by Marv-Ell's Esso Magician. She is short and stocky, standing at just under 15 hands. Breeze is broke to ride for an EXPERIENCED rider. Breeze had 60 days of professional training with a reining foundation in November/December 2022, and another 30 day professional training refresher in April 2024. Breeze is very light, responsive and sensitive. She requires a rider with soft hands, quiet legs, and a steady and balanced seat as she will get nervous if her rider isn't clear and confident. She is not suitable for beginners (and probably never will be), but could make an excellent step up horse for an experienced and confident youth looking for a zippy little horse to take to gymcannas or endurance events.
Breeze has not been ridden since she came home from training due to no fault of her own. She will require an intermediate to experienced rider to get her going under saddle again. Breeze is also a great broodmare, and she has produced two lovely foals for us - Kitcat Kyng Island-Breeze (NFS) and Kitcat Kyng Jett (SOLD).

Breeze is currently available to an approved home for $12,000 CAD. We would like to see Breeze go to a home where she will have a job as a riding horse, in addition to being able to produce a few more registered Canadian foals. If you think you can offer Breeze an excellent home, please contact us. Her price is negotiable to the perfect home.

Future Foals for Sale

Unfortunately, we will not have any 2025 foals available for sale. As many of you know, the 2023 and 2024 breeding seasons were incredibly difficult for us - with two purebred mares losing foals before going to full term. Costs of feed, veterinary care, vaccinations, and utilities have all steadily increased, and its just became too much for us to sustain. Despite these challenges, we tried our best to keep producing quality Canadian Horse horses and foals, but as of July 2024 we made the decision to completely discontinue our breeding program at least for the next 3-5 years.
We have already sold off a lot of our Canadian Horse herd, and we still have a few more registered mares available to approved homes. We plan on keeping Mountainview Kyng Deya, Kitcat Kyng Island-Breeze, and Kitcat Kyng Ivy, but the rest of our herd will be available.
We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to help preserve this wonderful breed, and we are so grateful for the support of our amazing customers and clients who have purchased horses and foals from us over the last five years! We are heartbroken to make these changes, but we rest easy knowing we have done our part in helping others fall in love with the Canadian Horse!

Thank you,
Catherine & Jasen McKenzie
